Jamie’s holistic approach to esthetics began early on in her career. Now she can practice holistic skin healing techniques within her beautiful sanctuary, the classic known “woo-woo” of the word "holistic" no longer applies. Nothing is woo-woo when it comes to holistic esthetics. Jamie McDowell’s holistic facials uses ancient facial techniques that truly changes the skin from deep within without the use stressing machines or chemicals. "It’s quite the opposite in the holistic world. It is all about reducing inflammation, not creating it," says Jamie McDowell. Inflammation is the root of all evil. If there is inflammation anywhere in the body, it is the first sign of defense, and it is where disease first starts. Calming down the internal body by de-stressing it as well as lowering inflammation is critical, especially in this fast paced world we now live in now. Her holistic approach is for the whole body, mind, and spirit.
